The following is the fee schedule used by BDRC Dispute Resolution Services. Unless alternate arrangements are agreed upon in advance, professional fees will be divided equally between or among the participating parties and parties will be invoiced accordingly.

Civil Meditation Fees
Half-day - $800
(9:00am - 1:00pm)
(2:00pm - 6:00pm)
Full-day - $1,450
(9:00am - 6:00pm)
This rate applies to time spent by the mediator at the mediation session, preparation work done by the mediator in advance of the session, and follow up work done by the mediator after or between sessions, including by telephone, e-mail or written correspondence.
* All fees must be paid at the time of scheduled mediation.
Family Mediation
Hourly Rate: $80 (Initial Session - 2 Hour Minimum)
Separation Agreement: $75
Hourly rates apply to all meetings and substantive telephone sessions (over 15 minutes) with one or more parties. There is no charge for the initial inquiry or intake calls. There is a two hour minimum for the first session. For divorcing couples who request it, the mediator can also produce a Separation Agreement which, following review by each party's lawyer, can be submitted as a formal document in Court.
* All payments must be paid by the end of each session.
Premarital/Prenuptial Mediation
Daily rate: $250
Agreement: $75
We charge a flat fee for all pre marital mediations for the benefit of our clients. The daily fee is based on preparation time, session and pre-marital workshop letter that can be used for a reduced fee when obtaining your Marriage License. If the couple desires to have an agreement drafted it can then be taken to an attorney to form a prenuptial agreement. We do accept personal checks for the pre-marital program fees.
* These fees are required to be paid at the time of meeting.
Arbitration Fees
Hourly rate: $400
(Maximum rate of $2,000 per case)
The arbitrator's professional rate is applied to the hearing itself as well as for preparation of the arbitration award. This rate covers costs for telephone work before or after the hearing and all time spent by the arbitrator in pre-hearing reading and research.
* All professional fees must be received in full before service of an arbitration award that the Arbitrator has rendered.
Cancellation/Postponement Fees
Mediator Cancellation fee: $225
Arbitrator Cancellation fee: $300
For cancellations/postponements made within two weeks of the scheduled session, the appropriate cancellation fee will be invoiced to the canceling party. For cancellations/postponements made more than two weeks in advance of the scheduled session, there will be no cancellation fee. The canceling party will, however, be assessed all professional fees for any time already spent by the arbitrator/mediator.
Please note that in the event that responsibility for the cancellation is not clear, the fee will be divided equally between the parties.
